Eating and Weight Disorders - Studies on Anorexia, Bulimia and Obesity is a scientific journal whose main purpose is to create an international forum devoted to the several sectors of eating disorders and obesity and the significant relations between them. The journal has recently implemented a new service for authors and readers by devoting a section of the web site to “Previews” in order to make papers accessible online upon acceptance of the manuscript, that is to say months before the final versions are published. This “Previews” section allows to read and cite the accepted papers by a DOI numbers that identifies them also in their final published version. “Eating and Weight Disorders - Studies on Anorexia, Bulimia and Obesity” is covered in Index Medicus and MEDLINE, Excerpta Medica Database (EMBASE), SIIC Data Bases, PsycINFO, Science Citation Index Expanded (also known as Sci-Search®) and Journal Citation Reports/Science Edition. From June 2009 the journal is published quarterly online only.

“Eating and Weight Disorders” has been recognized as having “high cultural value” by the Italian Ministry of Cultural Heritage.

PUBLICATION CHARGES
With the first number of 2012, papers accepted for publication in Eating and Weight Disorders are subject to mandatory publication charges. Authors will be charged € 35.00 (+21% VAT*) for each published page. The number of pages considered is that of the final layout of the proof, which is sent to authors for ok for publication.
*VAT taxes apply to authors/Institutions from Italy. They also apply to EU countries if VAT number is not provided.
